Shade sails
Cygnus opens nine square metres of shade with no centre pole. One light touch and the shade is already above you, for a terrace lunch that stretches past four, for a full afternoon by the pool. The sun moves, you turn the lever: everything underneath stays right where it is.

The gas piston that moves the Cygnus arm was designed to lift weight with a controlled motion: zero effort on your arms, uniform resistance from start to finish.
From a seated position, you open it effortlessly and close it in seconds when the weather changes. The piston handles both movements.

Each finish has its own dedicated fabric colours. A palette designed by the Maanta Style Centre, our in-house design studio.
The lever at the base unlocks and rotates the pole to any position. The shade follows the sun, the table stays where it is.
260 g/m² acrylic fabric, solution-dyed. UPF 50+, water-repellent, certified colour fastness of 1,500 hours.
75×100 mm pole, 16×28 mm ribs, top airvent. Withstands up to 30 km/h in single configuration.
The only Maanta cantilever that grows: from a single 3×3 m to a 3×6 m Duo (two canopies) up to a 6×6 m Qadro (four canopies).
Manages the weight of the arm with constant pressure: no effort spikes, no jolts on the seams.

Acrishade 3×3 m fabric pre-fitted to the ribs, aluminium frame (pole, arm, joints), mounting accessories included in the box, ready to be anchored to the base.
An integrated strap on the fabric keeps it neatly closed along the arm when the shade sail is folded. No open flaps, no edges flapping in the wind.
A step-by-step illustrated guide to securing the upright to your chosen base, tensioning the fabric correctly, and adjusting the rotation around the pole.
It can be self-installed using the included manual. For safe handling during installation, we recommend having two people when lifting the arm onto the upright: the complete assembly weighs 29 kg.
Express worldwide shipping via DHL in 3-5 working days from confirmed order. You'll receive your tracking number by email as soon as the parcel leaves our warehouse.
Yes, provided the building's regulations permit side-arm parasols and the flooring can support the minimum 120 kg of ballast required. Also check the opening clearances from the parapet walls.
We operate primarily as a pure e-commerce player. For large-scale projects, specific requests, or simply if you'd like to visit, we can arrange appointments at our premises in Gambellara (VI).
Continuous. The lever at the base of the upright lets you rotate the arm to any position around the pole and lock it wherever you need.
Yes. On wooden decking, you can use the 4-in-1 fillable base or the wooden floor anchor plate. The in-ground anchor plate is not suitable for decking, unless there is a load-bearing structural frame underneath.
The Acrishade fabric is water-repellent and can handle brief showers. If prolonged rain or winds above 25 km/h are forecast, close the parasol: the perimeter velcro band keeps it neatly secured along the pole.
It is a parasol where the pole is not positioned at the centre of the canopy but to one side. The fabric is suspended from a horizontal arm, leaving the space underneath completely clear — no obstructions for tables or seating.
It is a pressurised gas spring, the same technology used in car boot lids. It pushes the arm when you open it, and holds it back when you close it. You make a gentle movement, and the piston handles the weight.
It is a single opening at the top of the fabric, without a flap. When wind builds up beneath the canopy, the airvent allows it to escape upwards: this reduces pressure on the structure and lowers the risk of the shade sail being overturned.
Water-resistant. Acrishade repels water and handles light to moderate showers, but it’s not a fully waterproof barrier: during prolonged or heavy rainfall, some water may come through. In heavy downpours, it’s best to retract the awning.
Yes, with two dedicated accessories available separately that attach to the central hub beneath the canopy. The magnetic lamp MGL-8138 (Ø 278 mm, continuous dimmer, 2,500 mAh battery) or the clip lamp MGL-8109 (Ø 200 mm, three warm white light levels, 1,600 mAh battery).
Up to 30 km/h. Above this threshold, we recommend closing it: the gas piston-assisted closure takes you from open to closed in just a few seconds, even before a sudden summer storm.
Via USB cable. Simply detach them from the hub, charge them from any standard power source (phone charger, power bank, or computer), then snap them back into place magnetically. Typical battery life lasts a full evening with the dimmer set to medium.
Between 30 and 45 minutes the first time, including fitting the base. After that, seasonal opening and closing takes just a few minutes.
It is recommended, yes – at least for lifting the arm onto the pole. Once the arm is in position, the gas piston takes care of the rest.
Yes. The base is set up first – either ballasted with sand or water, or secured to the ground using the dedicated fixing plate – then the Cygnus pole is inserted into the fitting and locked in place.
The anchoring accessories compatible with Cygnus are:
Yes, you can use the steel concrete anchor plate or the in-ground anchor plate. This is the ideal solution for permanent installations, where there is no need to move or store the parasol seasonally.
Lower the arm, close the fabric along the pole using the perimeter velcro strap, then cover it with the protective cover (sold separately). If possible, remove it from the upright and store it in a dry place.
Yes. Use lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge. Avoid solvents, high-pressure washers, and washing machines. Leave the fabric to dry fully open, in the shade.
It's not essential if the area is sheltered and winter winds are manageable. If the location is more exposed, we recommend closing it, covering it with the protective cover, and storing it safely indoors – whether that's at home or in a garage.
Yes, it is available as a separately purchased accessory. Shaped to fit the Cygnus cantilever arm, it covers the fabric when closed along the pole. Made from a material resistant to sun and rain.
There is a lever at the base of the pole. Simply unlock it, rotate the arm to the desired position, then lock it back in place. The rotation is continuous through 360°.
7 years on the frame (pole, arm, mechanisms, aluminium). 3 years on the fabric (stitching, Acrishade fabric, textile accessories).
