FAQ
FAQ
Yes, and this is the context in which most of our pergolas are installed. The minimum size of 3 × 3 m suits medium to large terraces, while formats up to 4 × 6 m are ideal for gardens or outdoor areas of villas. Lyra T6 is designed for continuous residential use: the 10-year structural warranty reflects this expectation of long-lasting performance.
When you buy from Maanta, you deal directly with the people who designed and specified every component of the product. There is no middleman who only knows the pergola from a brochure.
Our team answers detailed technical questions, supports your project from configuration through to installation, and manages after-sales service without handovers. The price is transparent: you are not paying distribution mark-ups.
Delivery times from order confirmation are 3–7 working days. Shipping is carried out via an express courier who will contact you in advance to arrange the delivery date.
It is important that at least two people are present at the time of delivery: some packages weigh up to 50 kg, manageable by two people but difficult and risky to handle alone.
The driver is not required to assist with unloading.
For scheduled installations, such as a renovation or the opening of a venue, we recommend ordering at least one month in advance.
Lyra T6 is available in the standard sizes listed in the technical datasheet (from 3 × 3 m up to 4 × 6 m). If you require different dimensions, contact us for advice: our team assesses the feasibility of custom configurations on a case-by-case basis, also considering the characteristics of your outdoor space.
Very little. Cleaning the louvres and the gutter once or twice a year with water and a soft cloth is sufficient.
The coated aluminium requires no periodic treatments. The EPDM seals are designed to last over 10 years without replacement.
The IP67 motor requires no maintenance checks.
Yes, our pergolas are designed for DIY enthusiasts of all skill levels. With the help of another person and basic tools – a drill, spirit level and wrench – you can install it without professional expertise. On average, installation takes 3–4 hours for smaller sizes and 5–6 hours for larger ones. The illustrated step-by-step instructions, plug&play connectors and video tutorials guide you through every stage. For the connection to the household electrical system (a single 220V cable), we recommend contacting a qualified electrician.
Yes, on all three surfaces. The pergola can be fixed to any flat and solid base: tiled flooring, reinforced concrete or solid wood. Each surface requires specific anchors (not included, as they depend on the material of your floor). If you are considering installation on a raised terrace, check that the slab can support the weight of the structure – typically between 150 and 250 kg depending on the size. For installation on grass, you can use ground screws or prepare concrete footings. If you are unsure, our team can help you assess the best solution.
Lyra T6 is fixed using the four 8 mm steel base plates included in the package. The most common foundations are a concrete slab, solid wood flooring, patio paving slabs, or grass with ground screws. The best option depends on your property and the ground conditions. If you would like specific advice for your situation, you can request a free consultation with our specialists.
The sensor is already paired with the pergola at the factory. If you ever need to repeat the pairing, the procedure is simple: press and hold the button on the transformer for a few seconds until the LED starts flashing, then press the button on the sensor for 5 seconds. You can check that everything works by spraying a little water on the sensor: the louvres will close automatically.
Inside the structure poles. The exclusive double-channel profile of Lyra T6 houses the transformer in a dedicated chamber, completely separated from the water drainage channel. The internal cables are pre-connected with IP65 plug&play connectors.
From the outside, only one or two 220V power supply cables are visible (depending on the number of motors and the size of the pergola): everything else is hidden inside the structure.
There is no need to install external cable conduits.
Yes. Our pergolas can be dismantled and reinstalled in a new location. Many customers choose to take their Lyra T6 with them when they move. The M8 bolt-lock assembly system allows the structure to be dismantled without damaging the components. You will only need new anchoring elements (fixings) for the new foundations, while the structure, motor and all electrical components remain fully reusable.
The IP67 rating indicates two certified levels of protection. The “6” means complete protection against dust – no particles can enter. The “7” means the motor can withstand immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes. By comparison, competitors typically use IP44 (splash-resistant) or IP55 (protected against water jets) motors: useful, but not comparable. The practical result is a certified failure rate of less than 0.025%.
Yes. The rotation ranges from 0° (louvres closed, watertight against rain) to 100° (louvres beyond the horizontal for maximum ventilation). You can stop the louvres at any intermediate position with a simple click on the remote control or via the app. This flexibility is the core of the bioclimatic concept: you can regulate light, shade and air circulation depending on the time of day and weather conditions.
Lyra T6 has been tested by INTERTEK with a snow load of 160 kg/m², without experiencing fractures or permanent deformation. The recommended operating value under normal conditions is 110 kg/m², which comfortably covers typical snowfall in areas up to 1000 m altitude. In the event of exceptionally heavy snowfall, we recommend opening the louvres so that the snow can slide off. The certification report number is 240410081GZU-001.
Yes. Through the Tuya Smart app, Lyra T6 is natively compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, and with Apple HomeKit via a Tuya Bridge (sold separately). You can create automatic scenarios, for example “close the louvres at sunset” or “open to 50% when the temperature exceeds 28°C”, and integrate the pergola with other smart home devices.
The louvres remain in the position they were in at the moment of the power outage. They do not move and do not open or close by themselves. When the power returns, everything works normally again.
The motor’s power consumption is minimal: it activates only when opening or closing the louvres (around 20 seconds) and consumes less than 1 W in standby. The perimeter LEDs consume around 15–20 W per metre during operation. For a 3 × 3 m pergola with 12 metres of LED lighting, the maximum consumption at full brightness is approximately 180–240 W, similar to a set of terrace lights.
If the motor does not move the louvres, in most cases it is an installation or alignment issue rather than a defect. Here is what you should check:
- Remove and reinstall the motor following the instructions in the manual, paying attention to the correct position of the arm.
- Make sure the motor arm is securely fixed and aligned with the louvre rotation mechanism.
- Check that the motor is paired with the correct channel on the remote control.
If the issue persists after these steps, our customer service team will guide you through the diagnosis. In most cases it can be resolved within a few minutes.
First, check that the motor works independently by inspecting the wiring and the plug&play connectors: a connector that is not fully inserted is the most common cause. If the motor responds manually but not via the remote control, try repeating the pairing procedure – the steps are described in the instructions. If you need assistance, contact us with a photo of the wiring and we will guide you step by step.
The 10-year warranty covers the aluminium structure – poles, beams, louvres and seals – against defects in materials and workmanship, including coating and welds. The motor is covered separately for 3 years on electrical and mechanical parts. Damage caused by improper use, exceptional events not covered by the technical specifications (such as hurricanes with gusts above 133 km/h, the recommended operating limit) and normal wear of parts subject to friction are excluded.
Contact our customer service team by email or phone, describing the issue and attaching a few photos. The technical team will assess the case and, if it falls under warranty, organise the shipment of the replacement component or, in more complex cases, arrange a technician’s intervention. You will not need to return the product: in the vast majority of cases only the faulty component is replaced. Our goal is to resolve the issue within 5–7 working days.
