Products
The products offered for sale on the Maanta site are intended for private and professional clients.

The characteristics of the products presented on the site can evolve. The photographs attributed to each model are not contractual.

Use of products
Taking into account the specific nature of the products sold on the Maanta site, the customer is obliged to strictly comply with the provisions and recommendations regarding assembly and storage of products. Maanta will in no case be responsible for the incorrect assembly of its products and their use in abnormal conditions.

Inventory depletion
Given the volume of daily transactions, the absolute availability of the ordered products or services is not guaranteed. In the event of out of stock, one of our managers will contact the customer as soon as possible to inform him and to propose to change or cancel the order.

In case of modification of the order, the amount will be adjusted (paid in excess or in default) based on the chosen references and will confirm the order adjusted to the customer by e-mail.

1. Order

1.1 Order registration

Orders must be placed via the Maanta sales site.

1.2 Order confirmation

The order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours after the registration of the order, by automatic e-mail to the e-mail address communicated by the customer.

Warning!

Orders are processed after receipt of payment of the corresponding amount shown on the invoice. Any order that does not follow the payment within 10 days of receipt by the customer of the order confirmation, will be automatically canceled.

1.3 Change the order

The information provided by the customer, at the time of sending the order, imply the formal commitment of the same. In case of errors in the compilation of the recipient's coordinates, Maanta will not be held responsible for the possible inability to confirm the order or make the delivery. No change of delivery address after payment of the order can be considered for the delivery of the package / packs. However, the customer can request, under his sole responsibility, to change the delivery address directly to the carrier. In this case, Maantaa will not be held responsible for any errors in the delivery or loss of packaging by the carrier.

Once payment is received, it will not be possible to make any changes to the order (size, color, billing address or delivery)

In the event of an error in one of the aforementioned elements, the customer must contact the assistance via the Support form. The Bega Srl company will inform the customer of the procedure and conditions for cancellation and reimbursement of the order (see Retracting).

1.4 Not acceptance of the order

Maanta reserves the right not to accept any order from a customer for legitimate reasons.

1.5 Prices and methods of payment

The prices shown on the Maanta site are expressed in EURO and are inclusive of VAT

Maanta reserves the right to change its prices according to supply and demand. The price that the customer will have to pay is that of the order day.

Warning!

Orders are processed only after receipt and receipt of the payment corresponding to the invoice amount.

1.6 Reserve of ownership

Each product delivered remains the property of the Bega Srl company until full payment of the sums due. The customer will therefore be required to handle the product / products with care.

1.7 Delivery

The delivery address communicated by the customer must be in the same country as the billing address, which is the customer's place of residence.

The order is processed within 7 working days and is always subject to receipt of payment.

1.8 Delivery delay

The delivery times are of the order of 3-6 working days from the order and are shown as a guideline. Therefore, should this period be exceeded, no compensation or withholding can be claimed under any circumstances.

1. Withdrawal from the product purchase

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw and return a product for various reasons, each of which is subject to specific conditions. Below, you will find the applicable Purchase and Return Conditions for each case. You are required to read and accept them carefully before completing an order on our website.


1.1 Timeframe for exercising the right of withdrawal

You have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal:

  • For individual products: from the day you receive the product or a person you have appointed receives it.
  • For orders with multiple products: from the day you receive the last product.


1.2 How to exercise the right of withdrawal

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by notifying us of your decision through one of the following methods:

  • Personal account on the website:
    • Log in to your account on Maanta.eu and go to the "Order History and Details" section.
    • Select the product you wish to return and submit your return request.
    • Wait for the approval of your request and follow the instructions you will receive.
  • Maanta.eu website:
    • Go to the Contact page and fill in the form, selecting “Return request” as the reason.
    • Wait for the approval of your request and follow the instructions you will receive.

1.3 Return conditions and costs

You must return the products to Maanta by Bega Srl without undue delay and in any case within 14 calendar days from the date you notify your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is deemed met if the goods are returned before the 14-day period has expired. Direct return costs are borne by you.

  • Return shipping costs (EU):
    Initial shipping fees will only be refunded if you return the entire order. If you return only one item from a multi-item order, the initial shipping costs will not be refunded. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. You must arrange and pay for the return shipment.
  • Return shipping costs (NON-EU):
    Return shipping will be authorised and arranged by Maanta by Bega Srl / Maanta Corp. A return label will be provided, and a fee of $/£/AU$199 per parcel will be deducted after the goods are checked.
  • Packaging:
    Products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition, and without any handling other than what is necessary to verify their nature and functioning. Items must be returned with all accessories and packaging materials included at delivery.
  • Damages and liability:
    Maanta by Bega Srl reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

If any of the above elements are missing, Maanta by Bega Srl reserves the right to refuse the return or to only partially refund the amounts paid for the purchase.

1.4 Refund

The refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days from the date the goods are received, using the same payment method selected for the original purchase. Please note that all transport risks related to the return are the customer's responsibility.

1.5 Limitations of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

  • Custom-made or personalised products: for example, sails, canopies or covers made to order (specific dimensions, colours, logos, customisations) are excluded from withdrawal.
  • Additional services already provided: specific services such as personalised consultations, technical inspections, or installation services.

1.6 Effects of withdrawal

Exercising the right of withdrawal terminates the contract, with the mutual obligation to return the products and refund the payment, including the cancellation of any related ancillary contracts.

2. Complaints

2.1 Product damage during transport

The goods must be inspected by the customer upon delivery.

If the goods are accepted by a third party on behalf of the purchaser, the purchaser must inform them of the need to inspect the goods. The purchaser assumes responsibility for any damage or loss if the third party signs without checking the goods.

  • Visible damage: If the parcel, packaging or box is visibly damaged due to transport, the customer must report it to Maanta by Bega Srl within 14 days of receipt, so that Maanta by Bega Srl can initiate a claim with the courier.
  • Hidden damage: Hidden damage refers to defects or damage that are not visible at the time of delivery because the external packaging appears intact. In such cases, the issue must be reported to Maanta by Bega Srl as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from receipt, so that the complaint procedure with the courier can be started and a suitable solution found.

The customer must report the damage to Maanta by Bega Srl by filling in the contact form on the maanta.eu website, selecting “Complaint” as the reason and providing the following information:

  • Photo of the damaged product inside the original box, with all original protective materials. The image must clearly show the positioning of the goods and the internal packaging.
  • Photo of the internal packaging material used in the box (e.g. bubble wrap, polystyrene, cardboard dividers, etc.).
  • Close-up photo of the shipping label with tracking number (make sure the number is legible).
  • Two photos of the parcel from different angles, to show all six sides:
    • One photo must include the top and two sides.
    • The second photo must show the bottom and the opposite sides.

IMPORTANT: The customer must keep the box and its contents as they are, without disposing of them, so that the courier may carry out an inspection if required.

2.2 Missing items or shipping errors

If a product is missing or incorrect in the shipment, or does not match the specifications listed on the website, the customer must report the issue within 14 days of receiving the goods.

The customer may report missing items or shipping errors by filling in the contact form on the maanta.eu website, selecting “Complaint” as the reason and providing all necessary details, including order number and description of the missing or incorrect item.

If an item different from the one ordered is delivered, Maanta by Bega Srl will cover the cost of collecting the incorrect product and delivering the correct one.

2.3 Lost parcel

The customer must report the issue as soon as possible, within a maximum of three (3) days from the estimated delivery date stated in the order confirmation.

The customer can report the lost parcel by filling in the contact form on the maanta.eu website, selecting "Complaint" as the reason and providing all necessary details, including the order number and a description of the issue encountered.

Maanta by Bega Srl undertakes to process the request as quickly as possible. The customer must wait for the carrier’s response time, which is at least ten (10) working days. Within this timeframe, Maanta by Bega Srl will inform the customer of the outcome of the investigation. Please note that, in the case of a lost parcel, Maanta by Bega Srl is not liable; however, we will do everything possible to support the customer and help resolve the issue.

3. Warranty

3.1 Limited Warranty

All products are sold by Maanta by Bega Srl SB, Strada Statale 11, KM 331, Gambellara - 36053 (VI), Italy.

Unless otherwise specified in the product's technical datasheet, the warranty period is two (2) years.

All Maanta by Bega Srl products are covered by the 2-year legal warranty required by law, for any lack of conformity not attributable to improper use.

In the event of an issue, the customer can submit a complaint by completing the dedicated form on the website, selecting "Complaint" and attaching the required documentation (description, photos, proof of purchase).

The customer is required to inspect the products upon delivery and report any anomalies within two months from the date they were discovered.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, or modifications to the product.

IMPORTANT: This warranty is valid only when the product is used correctly and in accordance with the provided instructions. Installation requirements may vary depending on the type of ground, anchoring points, local wind conditions, etc.

This warranty ensures that newly manufactured products (sails, poles, wall mounts, and base plates) meet the specifications listed in the product description at the time of delivery. A defect is present only when the quality or usability of the product is significantly impaired.

This warranty excludes damage or defects caused by improper use or failure to follow installation and usage instructions. Normal wear is not covered. Additionally, altered or repaired products, or those no longer in their original state at the time of sale, are not eligible for coverage.

We invite you to consult the warranty exclusions listed below, which specify product features that do not constitute defects and the installation conditions that must be met for the warranty to remain valid.

If the claim is justified, Maanta by Bega Srl will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe.

The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from the following circumstances:

a. Weather conditions and force majeure:

  • Damage caused by strong winds, storms, hurricanes, hail, snow, lightning, or other extreme weather conditions.
  • Tears, deformations, or structural failures caused by adverse weather events.
  • Damage caused by water pooling on surfaces not properly sloped for adequate drainage.

IMPORTANT (for all products installed or exposed outdoors):
Do not leave products unattended during adverse weather. In case of bad weather (strong wind, heavy rain, hail, etc.), the product must be dismantled or secured to prevent damage. Failure to follow this recommendation voids the warranty.

Note specific to shade sails:
Sails must always be installed with correct tensioning and sufficient slope to ensure proper water runoff and prevent stagnation or pooling. Improper installation without adequate inclination or tension may lead to deformation, damage, or failure of the sail, which are not covered by warranty.

b. Improper use, negligence, and incorrect installation:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, abuse, or use for unintended purposes.
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow provided instructions.
  • Structural or functional damage due to incorrect installation of supports, anchors, or accessories.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised modifications, repairs, or additions without written approval.
  • Malfunctions or defects resulting from inadequate maintenance or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.

c. Accidental damage and third-party causes:

  • Defects or damage caused by accidents or third parties.
  • Damage due to theft, loss, or positioning of the product near external risk sources unrelated to the product's quality (e.g. barbecues, fireplaces, ovens, electrical cables, irrigation systems, plants, etc.).
  • Damage caused by direct heat, sparks, or embers from open flames.

d. Aesthetic aspects, wear and natural material behaviour:

  • Normal wear due to exposure to sunlight, weather, and prolonged use.
  • Surface scratches, fading, superficial corrosion of metal or textile parts that do not compromise functionality.
  • Creases, ripples, micro-holes, friction marks, or aesthetic changes that do not affect product performance.
  • Changes in chemical composition, colour variations, or fading due to exposure to UV rays or other atmospheric agents.

e. Damage from chemicals or excessive stress:

  • Damage caused by exposure to chemicals (including chlorine) or contact with aggressive substances.
  • Damage from excessive tensioning, mechanical friction, or exposure to open flames.

f. Liability limitations:

  • Indirect or consequential damages of any kind, including injury to persons, or damage to buildings or surrounding objects.
  • The warranty does not in any case cover removal, reinstallation, or mounting costs of products or any replacement components.
  • Any further claims by the customer beyond those expressly provided under this warranty are excluded.

Warranty Limitations

All warranties and conditions (whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise) relating to the Product or its supply are expressly excluded, and Maanta by Bega Srl shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any person (including the purchaser of the Product) in any way connected with or arising from the Product or its use (including loss or damage resulting from the negligence of Maanta by Bega Srl or attributable to it). If liability for breach of warranty or condition by Maanta by Bega Srl or any other liability imposed by law cannot be excluded but can be limited, Maanta by Bega Srl's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law, and where liability can be limited in more than one way, Maanta by Bega Srl will choose, at its sole discretion, one of the permitted methods.

The company shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, liquidated, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, profit, use, or goodwill, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, arising from breach of this warranty or in connection with the sale, installation, maintenance, use, operation, or repair of any product or service. In no event shall the company be liable for an amount exceeding the purchase price of any product or service supplied.

Please Note

The colours of our fabrics may vary from screen to screen.

The dimensions of the sails may vary from those specified. Sails are measured from ring to ring and, unless otherwise stated, are concave in shape (curved inward). It is important that the sail is installed correctly and well-tensioned: any size differences should not be a concern, as good tensioning is essential to ensure both functionality and aesthetics.

3.2 Safety Warnings and Installation Instructions

Shade sails must be securely installed and evenly tensioned to reduce wind impact on the fabric.
Loose or slack fabrics can cause premature damage due to mechanical wear.
Soft or slack fabric may lead to malfunctions that result in future damage.
These types of damage are not caused by UV rays and are not covered by the warranty.
Regular maintenance is essential to keep the fabric properly tensioned.

Although all Maanta by Bega Srl structures are tested to withstand weather conditions, we do not recommend or guarantee the use of sails in wind conditions exceeding the specified limits (see technical datasheet).
The warranty is valid only if the product is correctly anchored to a suitable system.

We do not cover damage caused by contact with the ground, external objects, extreme weather events, or other force majeure events.

We strongly recommend removing the sails when not in use.

The warranty only covers safe, reasonable, and guideline-compliant use.

Fastening systems must be chosen based on the type of masonry and installed accurately and securely.

Maanta by Bega Srl products must be used with attention to weather conditions. In windy conditions, particular care must be taken.
We do not recommend or guarantee the use of sails in strong winds or beyond the specified limits.
The sail must be taken down when left unattended.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • wind
  • fire
  • theft
  • vandalism
  • misuse

3.3 Factors to Consider Before Installation

  • Space and dimensions for anchoring
  • Size and shape of the sail
  • Strength of existing structures
  • Sun direction and angle
  • Possibility of using mounting poles
  • Distance from barbecues, ovens, electrical/telephone wires, irrigation systems, plants, etc.

Other specific situations may arise depending on the installation context.
Sails should not be left to move freely, to avoid fabric damage.
They should also not be used for walking, as hammocks or trampolines, or in any other way different from the intended purpose of providing sun or rain protection.
Maanta by Bega Srl sails are designed to offer UV protection and comfort in domestic environments.
A properly tensioned and anchored sail is essential for the safety and durability of the structure.
Check regularly. Exposure to chemicals such as chlorine can damage the fabric.
Before using chemicals nearby, contact Maanta by Bega Srl’s technical support.
Do not light fires under or near the sail.
Temporarily remove the sail in case of storms, strong winds, or snow.
Sails must always be removed if they cannot be protected from sudden storms.
Because wind speed can vary and gusts can be very strong, it is always advisable to remove waterproof sails.
The warranty is valid only if the user does not modify the tensioning systems or any components.
The customer is responsible for the design, permits, engineering, and/or construction of the installation.
Any damage caused by improper installation (including but not limited to: engineering errors, missing permits, defective construction, inadequate materials, etc.) is excluded from the warranty.

5. Legal information

5.1 Acquisition and transfer of personal data

The information communicated by customers is intended for the company Maanta that will transmit said information, in whole or in part to its commercial partners only and exclusively for purposes of processing the order, delivery of products and / or provision of services ordered by the customer.

Personal data acquired by the company Maanta will not be sold or communicated externally for advertising purposes.

The customer has at any time the right to access and rectify personal data concerning him.

5.2 Applicable law and settlement of disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by the rules of Italian law.

Before validating your order, the customer declares to have read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and will accept them without reservation.

In the event of a dispute, the customer will primarily address the assistance of the Maanto company in order to find a friendly settlement. In the event that it is impossible to reach a friendly solution, all disputes or disputes that may arise from contracts stipulated between Maanta and the customer will be referred to the Vicenza court.

The company Maanta warns its users that the elements of its website are protected by copyright law: it may be the case of photographs, articles, drawings and animated sequences contained on this site. The rights on these elements belong to the company Maanta or are subject to a use authorization in favor of the latter.

Any reproduction or total or partial representation of this site for any procedure that is, without the express permission of the MAAN, is prohibited and would constitute a counterfeit sanctioned by articles L 335-2 and following of the Code of intellectual property.

Any image, text and graphic element used without the consent of the Maanta company may be the subject of judicial proceedings.

The user also undertakes not to use programs that could create unreasonable overloads and disrupt the operation of the site.

Any fraudulent intrusion on the site and / or inspiration of the content of the Maanta site and / or extraction of its database in whole or in part may be subject to judicial proceedings in the conditions established by law.

 

6. Terms and conditions

The customer is required to release all the required data complete with tax code (for individuals) or I.V.A. (for legal entities). If Maanta does not such data, the order will not be processed.

Maanta reserves the right to cancel orders placed by customers even after receipt of payment. The cancellation will in any case always be accompanied by the reimbursement of the entire amount paid by the customer without additional penalties or charges. The images, descriptions and prices of the products on sale are purely indicative because they are constantly updated and subject to a slight probability of human error in publication.

In the case a product is purchased during the update.

Maanta reserves the right to change the orders associated with it even after receiving payment of the same and always subject to communication and acceptance by the customer. In the case of non-acceptance by the customer of changes subsequent to the order. In the shortest possible time, Maanta will cancel the order and proceed to any total reimbursement towards the customer, without any additional expense or burden.
