Useful information on shade sail anchoring accessories: which threaded rods to choose?

The set of 4 pcs. threaded rods M10 - 12cm (Article-No.: 2030026) is ideal for installing our wall plates.
The threaded rods are made of galvanised steel with a diameter of M10 and a length of 12cm.
They are suitable for fixing our wall anchor plates; they are NOT suitable for installing poles.

This set includes:

  • 4 threaded rods M10 with a length of 12cm
  • 4 washers
  • 4 screw nuts

They are compatible with the following Maanta wall kits:

The set of 4 pcs. threaded rods M12 - 13cm (Article-No.: 2030025) consists of 4 threaded galvanised steel rods of diameter M12 and length 13cm.
They are suitable for fixing the base of Maanta poles (AluSimple and Ulisse) to the ground and the collars of Maanta poles to the wall.

The Maanta wall plates are specially designed to support the tension of a sun shade sail; they are larger than the standard plates sold on the market and have 4 holes.
You therefore need 4 threaded rods per wall plate (one set consists of 4 threaded rods M10 12cm long and allows for the installation of one plate)

Yes, they are not included in the shade sail poles and anchor kits.
This allows you to choose the appropriate threaded rod or dowel according to your needs.

Once the threaded rod has been inserted into the chemist, it is advisable to allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes. During this short time the chemist will harden. For optimal setting, 2 to 12 hours are a good time. 

We recommend using a 14 mm drill bit and drilling about 15 cm deep.
We recommend drilling the concrete plinth in a "funnel shape" so that the chemical will fill the hole completely.

For each Ulisse and Alu-simple pole with 75° base and 90° base you need 1 set of 4 threaded rods M12 x 13cm.
Please note: 2 sets of 4 threaded rods M12 x 13cm are required for the pole Ulisse with wall mountings: a total of 8 threaded rods.

For the pole Ulisse you need a total of 8 threaded rods M12 - 13cm (2 sets of 4 - threaded rods M12 - 13cm).
For the pole Alu-Simple you need a total of 4 threaded rods M12 13cm (1 Set 4 pcs - Threaded rods M12 - 13cm)
